Aladar Salasovics is a passionate double bassist who expresses himself through both playing and teaching.
Aladar began studying double bass at the age of 12 in Hungary where he is originally coming from. Later taking up a place at Bela Bartok conservatory of music in Budapest where he studied under Istvan Lukacshazy and Sandor Benyus.
In Hungary Aladar was working with many different orchestras including the National Youth Orchestra of Hungary, Dohnanyi Symphony Orchestra, Danubia Symphony Orchestra. With this orchestras Aladar had been touring around Europe.
In 2012 Aladar went on to study at Bmus level at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance studying double bass under Professor Leon Bosch as a TCL Scholar and gained diploma in 2016.
Aladar is now attending Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama at MMus level in double under professor David Stark as a scholar and very keen to finish his studies in 2018.
